'Third Day' is an intermediate work for solo vibraphone, requiring 4 mallets and a general level of comfort with the instrument. Techniques required include 4-mallet independance and mallet dampening. Although sections of the piece may be challenging for intermediates, those challenges also make the piece an excellent choice for a developing player.
